Recently I joined Nelson’s first ever Business Breakfast Club (BBC).
It’s a brilliant initiative designed to help business people network, support each other and learn tools and tips from industry experts.
We get together on the first and third Tuesday of each month, enjoy a delicious cooked breakfast, and then the fun begins.
I was the first person to apply for BBC Nelson and won a $100- voucher to 623 Restaurant and Bar!

Five people from the club are selected to give a short speech about their business each time, and this week was my turn.
The feedback that was shared with me after I spoke, was that the passion I have for what I do shone through in spades.
Interestingly, another member spoke about motivation, saying when we are passionate about something we don’t need motivation. When we love what we do, passion is the motivator.
It’s been great fun so far, and I’m so enjoying meeting a variety of people from a wide range of businesses, industries and backgrounds. It’s going to be a fantastic journey!
