Rumour has it winter is not the wisest time to sell – however I can tell you the opposite is true.
Winter is an opportune time to list your property, and with the market so active right now, there are an abundance of buyers eagerly anticipating a slice of Nelsonian paradise.
Known as the “sunshine capital”, Nelson winters are entrenched with sunshine. Magnificent snow-capped mountains make for a stunning vista, majestically surrounding our picturesque city, whilst we Nelsonians enjoy the clear, sunshine-rich days characterised by the cooler winter months.
There is also a lot more competition during spring and summer, so listing during winter makes sense if you are wishing to cast the spotlight on your property, and capture the attention of buyers.
Nothing feels better than walking into a warm, cosy room when the coffee roast is brewing and the sunshine has hit the living room. Especially if you’re a buyer.
