Recently released figures show property figures in Nelson and Tasman in April 2013 are slightly higher than the same time last year, according to the latest QV property value index.

Nationally, residential values rose by 7.1% over the last year, which is a staggering increase.

The latest monthly property value index shows that nationwide residential values increased further in April. Values are up 4.0% above the previous market peak of late 2007, with a 1.3% increase over the past three months and a 7.1% increase over the past year. (QV Online Reports & Statistics).

It’s always great to see black and white proof of what real estate sales consultants like myself are seeing at ground level within the marketplace, particularly as the trend in rising house prices has been a popular topic in my blogging activities of late.

There’s no doubt it is an opportune time to list your property for sale, and these results are further evidence selling right now could be a great business decision.

I have buyers eagerly anticipating properties of all shapes and sizes, so if you would like to find out how I can help you receive an excellent return contact me today.
